Franky Fresh Food and UpFresh merger officially given the green light

In spring, the Depuydt family (Upfresh) and the Naessens family (Franky Fresh Food) announced their intention to join forces in one group. As required by law, the procedure was initiated with the Belgian Competition Authorities to meet all the usual conditions. The latter recently communicated its positive opinion, so the approval to merge is now officially a fact.

The new group has seven branches, more than 400 employees and 120 years of experience and entrepreneurship. The two families therefore face the future with confidence: "In addition to pride, we now feel the drive to put this beautiful project into practice with the greatest care.
